Cancellation may refer to any of the following:
Account Cancellation: You delete (close) your Meetopia account.
Subscription Cancellation: You stop your paid plan from renewing.
Token Purchase Cancellation: You request to cancel or reverse a token purchase.
This policy explains what is and isn’t cancellable in each case.
2) Account Cancellation (Deleting Your Meetopia Account)
2.1 How to Cancel Your Account
You may cancel your account at any time by using the in-app account deletion option (if available) or by contacting our support team at:

2.2 What Happens When You Cancel Your Account
When your account deletion request is submitted:
Your profile may become hidden or restricted while your request is processed.
Your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.
Some limited information may be retained only if necessary for:
Platform security and fraud prevention
Legal compliance
Resolving disputes or payment issues
Enforcing our Terms and community guidelines
2.3 Important Notes About Account Deletion
Account deletion is intended to be permanent.
After deletion, your prior chats, matches, history, and token balance may not be recoverable.
If you later create a new account, it will be treated as a new account.
3) Subscription Cancellation (Paid Plans)
Meetopia subscriptions can be canceled at any time. Canceling a subscription stops future charges but does not undo past billing.
3.1 How to Cancel Your Subscription
Subscriptions are typically managed through the platform where you subscribed:
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, you must cancel through Apple.
If you subscribed through Google Play, you must cancel through Google.
If you subscribed through a Meetopia-approved checkout method (if available), you can cancel through your account settings or by contacting Support@meetopia.co.
3.2 When Subscription Cancellation Takes Effect
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
After the billing period ends, the subscription will not renew.
3.3 No Refunds for Subscriptions
All subscription purchases are non-refundable.
This includes (but is not limited to):
Monthly or yearly plan fees
Partially used billing periods
Renewals (automatic or manual)
Promotional or discounted plans
If you cancel, you’ll keep access until your billing period ends, but no refunds are provided.
4) Token Purchases and Token Cancellation
Meetopia may offer tokens that can be used for paid features inside the app.
4.1 Token Purchases Are Final
All token purchases are final.
No refunds are provided for tokens after purchase, and tokens cannot be “canceled” once credited to your account—regardless of whether you used them.
This applies to:
Accidental purchases
Unused token balances
Changed mind after buying
Removing the app after purchase
Account deletion after purchase
4.2 Failed Payments or Token Delivery Issues
If you believe you were charged but did not receive the tokens, contact:

We will review the transaction. If verified as a genuine billing/delivery issue, we may correct the issue by:
Delivering the tokens properly, or
Taking another appropriate resolution step based on internal verification and platform billing rules
(Please note: resolution depends on confirmation from payment providers and platform records.)
5) Cancellations Related to Safety, Abuse, or Policy Violations
Meetopia may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms or community guidelines, including:
Harassment, hate speech, threats, or inappropriate content
Fake profiles, impersonation, scams, or fraud
Payment disputes abuse or suspicious transaction behavior
If Meetopia terminates or suspends an account for policy violations:
Access may be removed immediately
Any remaining subscription time or tokens are not refundable (where permitted)
6) Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you file a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without contacting us first:
Your account may be restricted while the dispute is reviewed
We may request information to investigate the issue fairly
Repeated disputes may lead to account limitations to protect the platform from fraud

Meetopia may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect improvements, legal changes, or product updates. The latest version will always be available on Meetopia.co. Continued use of Meetopia after an update means you accept the updated policy.
